VOLUNTEER AT MONTCLAIR TOWNSHIP ANIMAL SHELTER
Montclair Township Animal Shelter is currently accepting applications for the following volunteer positions:
Dog Walking: Must be at least 18 years old. Dog walking volunteers help by walking and
socializing dogs and supervising them in the play area as appropriate. You will be required to
attend an orientation session and a separate hands-on training session.

Cat Care: Minimum age is 16. Cat Care volunteers work each morning before the shelter
opens to the public, performing critical tasks to keep our cats healthy and happy while they are
at the shelter. Volunteers will help sterilizing cages, washing food bowls and litter boxes, sweeping
and mopping the floor, etc. There will be opportunity to interact with the cats while they are out
of their cages. You will be required to attend a combined orientation and training session.
