Board and Committee Positions
HELP the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. No doubt you've heard about all of the exciting developments taking place at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. The shelter recently:

hired a new, highly experienced, animal welfare expert as its director
implemented necessary upgrades and repairs
and most importantly tripled its number of adoptions in the past year!

We at FOMTAS are excited to be a part of all of the great things happening at the shelter and want to help further the goal of helping as many animals as possible find their forever homes. To that end, we are looking for a few animal loving volunteer board and committee members in the Montclair community to join our cause.

We are seeking individuals for both the board and committees with a wide range of skills, interests and experience including:

grant writing
event planning
marketing
public relations
strategic planning
graphic design
general nonprofit experience
volunteer recruitment/management
animal welfare
accounting and legal experience

As the shelter is responsible for animal control in Nutley, Verona and Montclair we are particularly seeing volunteers from all three communities. FOMTAS is committed to diversity and we hope to seek individuals representing a wide cross section of our community to serve on the board and on committees.
