The Montclair Township Animal Shelter is municipally run and governed by the Township of Montclair. The shelter provides animal care and control for the township of Montclair, intakes stray animals and pets whose owners are unable to keep them, and offers adoption services for the animals intaked. In addition, in partnership with FOMTAS, the shelter provides humane education, surrender prevention services and community programming. For emergency situations requiring immediate attention, residents are advised to call the Montclair police at 973-744-1234 PET ADOPTIONS: The shelter's adoptable animals are posted on Petfinder.com and on the shelter’s FB page.
